Color Services

Many people are afraid of putting color on their walls, but are green with envy of those who do. With our guidance, the anxiety of choosing a color scheme diminishes, and the number of trips to the paint store lessens. It's amazing how some color can change the feel of a space and change your mood from blue to rosy!

Dr. Jennifer Klaus, Brookline, MA: "I’ve been working with Sheila for a couple of years.  The walls of my new home were all painted off-white.  I wanted color.  Sheila carefully listened to what I wanted to achieve and made suggestions about color options.  I never would have painted an accent wall the vibrant Nacho Yellow without Sheila’s encouragement!  I’m SO happy with the color choices; they’re exactly what I wanted."  Read more...

Dr. Jonathan Melman, Sudbury, MA:  "We bought our new home in Sudbury; a really unique contemporary house inspired by the Arts & Crafts style. There were, however, two problems. "Sheila came to our rescue and helped us pick paint colors which complement and enhance the Arts & Crafts style. The new room colors made such an amazing difference that the kitchen cabinets didn't need to be replaced. The color selections were so well-conceived that not only was the architectural feel of the house enhanced, but we saved all that money by not having to buy new cabinets."  Read more...

Before, this living area was all one color. After an On The Move Interiors color consultation, the living room was painted a warm parchment color, and the dining room was painted a complementary blue. As a focal point, the fireplace wall was painted a deeper shade of parchment, while the lighter color was applied to the alcove sides and under the arches to highlight these wonderful architectural elements.
