Working with On The Move Interiors will ease some of the stress and emotions of moving or when downsizing homes and will make the transition to your new home easier.  We start working with you before the move to help you decide what furnishings you should take with you to your new home.  We evaluate the space and layout of your new house, condo, or apartment and determine how your existing furnishings will work in each room to suit your new lifestyle.

When people are downsizing homes, it’s inevitable that not all the furniture from the old home will fit into the new home.  Below are a couple of examples of how our house downsizing services have helped clients.

This house downsizing client had this armoire in their old formal dining room.  They loved the piece, but it wouldn’t fit into their new dining area.  We suggested they repurpose the armoire; it now holds a TV and is in their new den.

We were able to fit all of the furniture from the original bedroom into this new bedroom.  Although the bedroom shapes were different, with our guidance, it all fit successfully.
