Brookline Bathroom
Posted by srselby on Apr 29, 2011 in Baths & KitchensThis small master bathroom had no storage other than a wall-hung medicine cabinet. The floor and wall tiles were mismatched, the shower was dark and cave-like, and the tub too small to enjoy. The renovation included a vanity and linen tower for plenty of storage. While the shower footprint stayed the same, it seems much larger because of the glass door and panel. The counter top, which is the focal point of the space, is Vetrazzo, an environmentally-friendly product which consists of 85% recycled glass in a concrete binder. Because there is a tub in the condo’s other bathroom, the tub was not replaced in this master bath, which allowed for the increase storage, counter space, and floor space.
